Final touched in the 1970s, this condominium in Paris’s 19th Arrondissement was, in accordance to architect Lina Lagerstrom, of Septembre, “divided into a great deal of tiny rooms and in really bad condition.” The homeowners, a young spouse and children of 4, called in the Septembre staff to build an open up kitchen/living place in Scandinavian style with birch plywood, white paint, and a hint of mint.

Higher than: The remodel was finished for a artistic few, Sabine and Alexis–she’s a graphic designer, he’s a writer/comedian–who desired a mixture of “bright, lively, and cozy.” Birch ply cabinetry defines the kitchen area from the rest of the room, and the partitions, ceiling, and ground are white (“painted flooring are unusual Parisians are utilized to their oak parquet,” says Sabine).

Over: The carpentry is the function of Fred de Gasquet of FredFabric. The tall cupboards (which cover the fridge) surround the door to the rest room.

Previously mentioned: The minimal perch dividing the kitchen area and residing location is a storage space with a detachable picket top for bottles of wine and drinking water. Over: Septembre’s strategies display the bedrooms and tub off the kitchen area and the spiral stairs to the roof.
